In the first chapter the main character's mother tells him to be like the moon. Never overstay your welcome and be pleaseant. People always enjoy having the moon shine at night because children play and adults come out to talk on those nights. The main character does favor characteristics of the moon because everyone likes him and he is usually never in the same place for extened amounts of time.
